The role of the People Science & Analytics function is to enable P&C goals by bringing data, research & evidence across the employee lifecycle for effective people-related decisions. ABOUT THE ROLE

The role will support in uncovering data-driven metrics & insights to better attract, hire, engage, develop, and retain Stitch Fix’s most important asset – our talent. You will partner with key stakeholders within P&C (such as Recruiting, Learning & Development, Business Partners, Compensation) and outside P&C (such as Styling, Warehouses, Finance, Algorithms etc.) to act as a consultant in solving people data questions. The role will report to the Director, People Science & Analytics and you will be a thought-partner in evolving this function to the next stage!

  • Be an analytics powerhouse providing organizations or teams with their people metrics data proactively (examples: attrition, hiring, span of control, workforce model) and translating them into actionable outcomes (examples: org design, attrition hotspots to lookout for, diversity outcomes)
  • Using data visualization skills & psychology to create consumable people metrics quarterly lookback/review decks
  • A consultant that will develop a deep understanding of people data & metrics needs of various functions over time & provide customized data solutions - be it in form of excel analytics, or dashboards or more advanced analytics
  • Evolve our people metrics portal and measurement strategy by helping functions find their story dashboards using intuitive visualizations for easy consumption of data
  • Apply your knowledge of people data fields to discover new data sources and fields in our HRIS, LMS, ATS, and business facing systems that can be joined to create new metrics and analyses
  • Use your understanding of systems to identify any data discrepancies and continue to validate and clean our data
  • Actively work towards adoption and engagement of data-driven people decisions mindset across the company
  • Actively educate and empower our HR Business Partners, recruiting operations org, and stakeholders
  • See beyond the presenting numbers to help stakeholders interpret the data accurately and tell a story

WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU...

  • Have at a minimum a Bachelor's degree and 1-2+ years of specific functional experience working with or within people analytics team involving people data and systems
  • Have experience with HR metrics, surveys, systems, interpreting data trends and basic data analysis
  • Are analytically strong with strong Excel skills - a plus if possess experience in working with tools such as Tableau, Visier, One Model, Looker etc.
  • Have experience with data management, specifically with validating and auditing data and reports from multiple systems
  • Are able to communicate technical content to non-technical audience
  • Have experience/interest in survey work and other areas of people analytics research
  • Bring a consultative mindset and are able to experiment and innovate
