Product Launch Manager

Job Description

You : Apptio is looking for a Manager of Product Launch with a proven track record for leading complex, cross-functional efforts to bring new products and innovations to market with high customer impact and satisfaction, driving product momentum and revenue growth at global scale in the B2B SaaS arena. This critical role will shape and lead our holistic product launch strategy and launch program management discipline, inclusive of a product release planning and governance model to support our continuous innovation release cycles, as well as driving the strategic orchestration of GTM enablement efforts to support product launches for optimal market impact and resonance.

What We Want You to Do

This role is an exciting opportunity to lead one of the most important functions at Apptio, working cross-functionally to enable the delivery of our product innovation to market. Specifically, you will:

• Establish a best-in-class Launch process that orchestrates product releases across key stakeholders, aligned to our continuous innovation release cycle, and in tune with business goals.
• Project manage the delivery of our products across multiple product lines, holding cross-functional teams accountable.
• Build out KPIs, metrics, and reporting that effectively measures the success of a launch inclusive of delivery, adoption, and product quality.
• Develop a community-focused product/feature request process that is measurable, collaborative, and incorporates existing processes such as win/loss and roadmap decisioning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 or more years of experience working on product launch, as a product marketer and/or program manager in the technology industry.
• Strong understanding of SaaS technology, vernacular, and landscape.
• Expertise in B2B marketing with the ability to rapidly gain an in-depth knowledge products and markets.
• Enthusiastic willingness to roll-up-your-sleeves and do whatever it takes.
• Strong attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent, and highly collaborative.
• Outstanding organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver on key milestones.
• History of improving processes, methodologies, programs and/or frameworks that improved company impact, customer experiences, and/or cross-team performance.
• Experience with financial applications and concepts is a plus.
