Job Description BAE Systems, Platforms and Services, has an opening for a Security Manager/Facility Security Officer (FSO) to support the Weapons Systems business in Minneapolis, MN. The Security Manager will report to the Director of Security and be responsible for the implementation of security procedures to safeguard materials, documents, property and physical assets relating to classified programs. Ensures compliance with the National Industrial Security Program operating Manual (NISPOM) as it relates to the company's compliance with government industrial security requirements. The manager will perform a variety of tasks ensuring the security and accountability of all government COMSEC (Communication Security) hardware. Administers and provides recommendations to policy and procedures for the management of classified material. Briefs senior management on the status of the Facility Security Program. Develops and administers security training. Evaluates, determines, and maintains accountability on destruction of DOD and internally generated classified material. Works with the Shared Services PERSEC Manager to ensure the personnel security program is in accordance with the provisions of the NISPOM. Maintains accountability databases and performs company badging and identification functions and assign access capabilities to facilities through the C-Cure System. Leads security audits, pre-inspections and Industrial security investigations in accordance with policy. Responsible for the physical security requirements and implementation of physical security policies. Manages the security guard force and all related duties. Maintains and updates security databases and tracks all site international travel. Has oversight of site security budget, planning and administration. Manages the insider threat program and conducts insider threat investigations. Manages the Special Security agreement (SSA) for the facility.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Typically requires a bachelors in a related field (i.e. Security Management, Business, Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, etc.) and eight (8) years of related experience.
- Must have an active TOP SECRET US Government Security Clearance.
- Proficient in SIMS, JPAS, NISS, DISS, C-CURE, Passage Point.
- Previous management or supervisory experience to oversee a team of six (6) plus any contractors.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred but not required:
- ISP certification
- FOCI experience
