  • Effective communication of your ideas and rationale - spoken, written and visual through clear documentation.
  • Crafting thoughtful flows, rough designs, polished designs, and other solutions in Figma, Sketch, Framer etc. within our visual design language. Sometimes helping to improve that language. This is a hands-on role.
  • Involvement in end user research to explore, uncover and analyze end user requirements during field studies, user interviews etc.
  • Effective collaboration with Product Managers to frame user problems, use cases, technical requirements, critical metrics etc.
  • Close collaboration with engineers to build your designs accurately or refine them in acceptable ways.
  • Clearly communicate solutions and ideas, advocate for them, ask questions and push for clarity when it may be lacking.
  • Provide thought leadership and support to other teams with visualization related goals and problems.

Requirements:

  • A champion of design process focused on identifying/solving problems with elegant solutions
  • Fluency with common UX patterns and their best uses

  • Working ego-free within a team as well as being self-driven to work with autonomy and ownership
  • Bonus: experience designing dashboards for web apps & cloud products
  • Bonus: ability to prototype your solutions
  • Bonus: experience with user research, whether conducting or just using learnings
  • Experience with big data is not required but the capacity to learn relevant concepts is
