Our team works together to create opportunities with inclusion and thoughtfulness top of mind, from our workplaces to moments of connection. Everything we build is rooted in supporting our employees ( we call them Snoos ) by providing opportunities for them to do their best work through innovative workplace and events.

This role will work with the rest of the Places arm of the Experience team to oversee the total package of workplace (from physical location operations to the build-outs, retrofittings, vendor management, employee resources, building sustainable workplace practices, and much, much more) that collectively makes our Snoos’ time at Reddit a first-rate employee experience every bit as vibrant as the platform we support.

As we grow, scale, and become increasingly international and distributed, we need a meticulous, thoughtful, boundlessly creative lead to stay on top of (and continuously push forward) our workspaces that will serve our diverse set of Snoos and keep them feeling productive and connected to each other and to Reddit.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain flexible and evolving workspaces across all of our office locations
• Stay on top of trends and patterns within our company as well at the industry to determine how we shift or evolve our workplaces
• Create consistency in workplace operations across all offices. From vendor offerings, to workplace safety and security procedures, to COVID protocols
• Create instructional materials for all employee-facing workplace operations information including but not limited to Handbooks, Wiki Page maintenance and structure and posts in our employee subreddit
• Proactively communicate updates to employees with predictable cadence and channels, and respond to employee questions in a timely manner
• Manage workplace budget and spend to ensure our workplace resources are scalable for all teams and individual Snoos
• Approach workplace operations strategy from a lens that will eye towards clarity, diversity, international audiences, & accessibility
• Partner with other P&C leads to identify and alleviate any potential issues or workplace obstacles
• Oversee a team of 6+ Snoos across the globe

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years experience within Workplace Operations
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Passion for Reddit’s product, communities, and teams
• Passion for engagements through workplace that promote a diverse and inclusive culture
• Experience managing a large workplace budget for an international employee base
• Problem-solver who can be effective in situations with limited information, building a solution from first principles and communicating it to stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills and can work well with different personalities in the organization
• Hyper organized and conscientious
• Drive and flexibility to adapt with complicated workplace logistics
