Job Description
MGS (Mars Global Services) Finance is delivering smart financial operations and insights, innovating how we partner with the business to become a world-class financial services organization.
The MGS Finance Supply Chain Finance & Fixed Assets Leader will drive operations for the Supply and Fixed Assets service catalog. This includes period close, accounting transactions, waste reporting, item costing, and annual standards/ planning across internal and external manufacturing, primes, logistics and engineering.
The role reports into MGS Finance Director of Asia Pac., and leading a team of 5 associates.
In the role, you will:-
- Establish the strategies, goals and objectives for the MGS Finance Manufacturing, Primes, Logistics and Engineering processes
- Deliver efficient, quality and complianced results and faciliate effective communications across business.
- Work in close coordination with the Global Process Owner and Finance Transformation Team around the development of standards, new service offerings and sharing of best practices in service of global continuous improvement.
- As key role on MGS Finance Leadership Team, proactively involved in developing and delivering the Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures (OGSM).
- Manage and develop highly engaged MGS Finance associates through proper performance and development discussions, follow-up sessions, and continual training opportunities.
What will set you apart?
- Experience in accounting & finance (minimum of 10 years) including significant experience in financial processes and controls, experience in Supply Chain Finance.
- Advanced knowledge of Financial Accounting and reporting (US GAAP) including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Source and Use of Cash required
- Demonstrated success in financial process implementation, transformation or continuous improvement
- Strong people skills and being an agile thinker
- Excellent track record in building effective teams and developing direct reports, particularly with strong function/ technical requirements
