Bleacher Report currently has four animated series: Game of Zones, a mashup of the NBA and Game of Thrones, Gridiron Heights, a fictional town where NFL players live during the football season, The Champions, a reality show parody where Champions league soccer players and managers live together in a Bachelor style mansion, and Role Players, a parody of NBA players in different TV shows, movies and games. The series are different in animation style, premise, and length, but they both deliver in commenting on their sport in a humorous manner that allows fans to connect to their favorite players in a new way.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Associate Producer to join the animation team at Bleacher Report.

The Associate Producer is responsible for supporting producers from pre-production through post on The Champions and a new NBA animated series. The AP will also coordinate across departments to ensure deliverables and materials are being managed properly.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Compiling research for each show
  • Organizing and tracking projects in pre and post production
  • Taking detailed notes in writers rooms and production meetings
  • Maintaining department wide documents
  • Scheduling department and cross-department meetings
  • Supporting Producers through all aspects of production
  • Obtaining episode sign off from legal and quality control teams
  • Track and manage Deliverables
  • Liaise between departments to manage video assets

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a professional production environment
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively and efficiently
  • Organized, detail oriented, and self motivated
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of digital post-production process using Adobe and Apple software
  • Adobe Premiere knowledge and understanding preferred
  • Prior experience in animation is strongly preferred

This is a project-based position scheduled to end June 2021. The success of the shows and business objectives will determine if this position will be needed after then.
