About the Position

We are looking to hire a Corporate Actions Specialist to help our growing operations team with both equity and fixed income instruments. You’ll collaborate with many groups across the firm to reconcile cash and stock dividends, forward and reverse stock splits, spin-offs and mergers for equities, coupon payments, calls maturities, exchanges for bonds, and more.

A big part of success in this role is getting the right information, to the right people, in a timely manner. You’ll monitor notifications on voluntary corporate actions and notify trading desks of upcoming events and all relevant details. You’ll also confirm any restrictions and SEC rules that may apply to the offer and our ability to participate.

After successfully coordinating across our different accounts and entities, you’ll help our prime brokers to execute our preferences. You’ll also help trading and operations on position calculations post-corporate action, and communicate any discrepancies and inquiries to our prime brokers for correction or clarification.

We don't expect you to know everything right away, but you should be humble about what you don't know and eager to learn, ask questions, and seek out feedback. Your ability to see the big picture of our firm while getting the details right will make you an important asset to our team as we navigate this increasingly complex landscape together.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate actions on both equity and fixed income instruments
• Knowledge of DTC's functionality and corporation actions processing
• Reliable and flexible team player with a positive, “no job too small” attitude
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Motivated self-starter who can handle competing priorities
• Communicates clearly with colleagues and external partners
• Strong Excel, VBA, SQL skills preferred
• Fluency in English required
