We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
The Executive Director of End to End Technical Operations in the Manufacturing Division, Global Pharmaceutical Operations is responsible for strategic and tactical direction of technical product leadership of our Company’s small molecule commercial franchises. These franchises support $14BN in revenue and comprise approximately 30 product families. The End to End Technical Operations function has four components. These are 1) The Technical Process Stewards who in collaboration with the cross-functional Value Chain Technical Team devise the strategy and execute the portfolio of technical work in support of our Company's ‘invest to win’, ‘must win’, and at-risk base franchises which support the bulk of our Company’s small molecule revenue and revenue growth, 2) The Problem Solving Center of Excellence (COE) who develop and deploy investigational best practices and improvements, 3) The Strategic Project Management COE who provide world class project management support for GPO’s most important technical and strategic projects and 4) The Data and Digital COE who identify, design and implement data and digital solutions across GPO to provide rapid access to data, solve problems, enable efficiencies and create new technical innovations.
The End to End Technical Operations (E2E Tech Ops) Leader also provides leadership and oversight of all process and analytical activities across small molecules. They achieve this through the Technical Process Stewards and through their leadership of the ‘Executive Supply Oversight Committee’ (ESOC) which brings together executive leadership across technology, regulatory, quality and supply chain to identify, prioritize, resource and provide decision support to the portfolio of technical work across the Operating Unit. The E2E Tech Ops leader is connected to the pipeline development activities, supply chain activities, regulatory and quality activities and GHH operations and strategy through appropriate governance bodies. They are also a key member of the Science & Technology Leadership Team
Plans and operates a budget of approximately $5 MM and supervises a staff of approximately 20 personnel across the various elements of the group.
