Job Description
What you’ll be doing...
- Provide creative direction and coaching while partnering with team to accomplish creative objectives.
- Provide creative quality control over concepts and execution.
- Direct complex, medium-scale project activities and effectively lead the work of the creative studio team.
- Lead execution of Tier 1 & 2 creative work on select projects including development of presentations, headlines and copy.
- Provide brand guidance and direction to ensure consistent alignment with brand standards and tone.
- Work harmoniously with others to get a job done and lead the team in a collaborative fashion.
- Share critical information with everyone involved in a project to produce more effective creative solutions.
- Work in partnership within the creative group and across the organization; promote a “be of service” solution-oriented mentality across the team.
- Find common ground with clients when debating creative or strategic opinions.
- Build strong relationships with clients and be perceived as a credible, trusted advisor.
- Partner with clients to achieve effective outcomes in an efficient manner.
- Work with clients to articulate creative needs concisely and completely.
- Appropriately balance client desires, business requirements and marketing strategies.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Four or more years of experience as a copywriter.
- Three or more years of experience in directing creative teams.
- In-house or external advertising agency experience.
- Experience working on a business to business account.
- A portfolio.
Even better if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, English, journalism or related field.
- Creative conceptualization skills along with experience in integrating concepts across different media channels.
- Ability to present concepts to clients.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge in industry-standard software and tools such as the MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and Keynote.
- Experience in brand development as well as traditional and emerging multichannel marketing.
- Ability to develop creative strategies to address marketing and business objectives for regional initiatives.
- Knowledge that all projects require attention to detail so that work is on-time, on-budget and on-strategy.
- Ability to be persuasive and/or negotiate when selling ideas.
