With over 1.6 million room nights booked every day, accommodation represents the largest share of our business. We are responsible for driving accommodation growth, with clear ownership of all marketing, product and supply related to accommodations. We are working towards creating the ultimate travel experience, building and improving great products for both travellers and the accommodation partners.

To help us accelerate on this journey, we are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and lives to delight our users to join the Booking Sponsored Benefits team. The Booking Sponsored Benefits is a product focused on delivering best prices to our customers by giving discounts from Booking.com using ML and rules. This product is a core for Booking.com growth strategy and we are planning to scale this area significantly.

As a PM you would be responsible for partner facing products and business rules. Partner facing products are a tool to convince our partners who already have good prices on B.com to allow us to use our ML capacity to optimize their prices. In H2 2020 we proved significant interest of partners in this product and now want to scale it. Business rules are additional discounts rules on top of ML to optimize product impact. You will closely partner with extraordinary talent across engineering, design, data scientists and marketing, to create an industry leading travel product!!

B.Responsible

  • Engage with product, analytics and user research teams to identify user and partner needs across the globe
  • Be the voice of the customer and driving force behind product innovation and impact
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Take full ownership of your product areas including prioritization, short term vs long term planning, success metrics, brainstorming with data scientists on ML models and deep dives with engineers on technical trade-offs
  • Empower and collaborate with your team to unlock their full potential

B. Skilled

  • 3+ years of Product Management in a (very) high impact, large-scale environment.
  • Ideally with commercial experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Prior Experience working in e-commerce / two-sided marketplaces would be an advantage
  • You are an excellent communicator, love storytelling and able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strong user empathy and understanding of user needs and pain points into something tangible that people love
  • Hands on with data driven decision making, qualitative and quantitative research, analytics, design prototyping
  • Passionate about building scalable products with solid understanding of Engineering and Technology stack used in e-commerce platforms
  • Creative problem solver who is not afraid of taking on the biggest challenges in the travel industry and break them into products that bring value to customers and Booking.com
  • Experienced working in an agile environment
