Introduction
As an Associate Partner - CVT, you will part of strategic initiative that brings together the best of IBM to define large, transformative and business outcome oriented propositions for our clients leveraging the power of exponential technologies such as Hybrid Cloud and AI. You'll work with our large deal teams across the region on industry as well as cross-industry opportunities, utilizing your specialized knowledge and experience in business, technology and industry strategy. Your Role and Responsibilities
Cloud Value Transformation (CVT) is a strategic sales initiative that combines business process, technology, data and experience in a holistic transformation program that delivers strategic business outcomes. CVT engagements leverage the best of IBM and our ecosystem partners across multiple growth platforms and service lines. They are long term engagements that require selling to the C-suite and the Board. The APAC CVT team is a centralized strategic sales team that is responsible for working with and coaching/supporting the CVT deal teams across all Markets in Asia-Pacific.
The role and your responsibilities
  • Responsible for working with account/deal teams to prepare the CVT value proposition, deal construct and business case
  • Provide deal coaching and guidance to deal teams in matters of deal strategy, complex solutioning, stakeholder management, pricing, commercials and terms
  • Deeply understand the trends, conditions and landscape of the industry, including AI and Hybrid Cloud
  • Keep up to date on the Cognitive Enterprise and the combination of IBM services and offerings that are available globally to meet client opportunities
  • Understand our client’s strategy, business performance expectations, challenges and critical imperatives; and work with the account teams in identifying large and transformational opportunities
  • Lead/participate in client CxO and Board level meetings and presentations as needed
  • Develop strong relationships in the wider market to promote IBM’s eminence, leverage networks and ecosystems, and maintain your industry credibility
  • Contribute to knowledge and assets repository
  • Live the Client Ethos through Inspire, Deliver, Champion and advise

Required Experience
  • Previously served as a Director, Principal or Associate Partner or equivalent in a prestigious consulting organization
  • Mature Leadership profile with 10-15 years of strategy consulting experience, with a digital/technology transformation focus
  • Ability to develop a Board room presence and ability to interact with C-level stakeholders in leading national/regional/global corporations
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing large scale technology-enabled business transformation program roadmaps with supporting business cases in Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution industries.
  • Experience in large deals Sales/Business Development will be an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to lead, influence, develop, and motivate a team as well as work as part of a team
  • Market Eminence, developing Subject matter Expertise. Personal Social and Digital Eminence. Published papers or Thought leadership profile

  • Excellent strategy and management consulting skills
  • Respond to client needs with a strategy narrative, and evangelise the cognitive enterprise vision
  • Proven experience developing business cases , advanced financial models and commercial partnership constructs
  • Techniques to discover, design, develop, evolve business & product strategies
  • Analytical, data driven decision making and value driver analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal with an ability to articulate and influence key stakeholders / decision makers
  • Well-versed in technology trends and leading edge differentiators
  • Understands exponential technologies and associated practices, technology trends and their impacts to business and users
  • Hands on, lead by example
