Job Description
- Develop new applications for industrial automation (including robotics, vision, sensor fusion)
- Develop and simulate models with muliti-level fidelity to capture behaviour of complex heterogeneous systems (Finite element modelling to Finite state machines, continuous to discrete)
- Strong theoretical understanding of algorithms related to vision, perception, trajectory and motion planning
- Develop and integrate Robot Operating System (ROS) modules, CAD
- Apply machine learning techniques for optimisation, and classification of sensor data
- Develop prototypes while ensuring compatibility among different software and hardware components
Qualifications
- Masters/PhD in Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering/science field.
- Strong technical skills related to industrial robots, vision, programming, and knowledge in Self-organizing and collaborative robot technologies will be an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience with ROS platforms, programming, modelling, prototyping, evaluating, testing and/or fielding solutions
- Knowledge in control and algorithm development, sensor modelling, fault tolerance and digital twins will be an advantage
