Position title: Demand Planner - Marmot

Location: Frankfurt area (Hattersheim am Main)

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Job summary

As a Demand Planner you will be responsible for an efficient demand planning to ensure supply of finished goods for our B2B customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). You will be the interface between Sales, Customer Service and our Global Demand Management Team in North America. You will be part of the team of 10 people, being based in our office in Hattersheim, while working in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing forecast for all Marmot products in EMEA region in close collaboration with the Global Demand Management Team based in USA
• On-going analysis of sales forecast and incoming orders at product and customer level
• Active feedback on sales deviation to the sales teams and coordination on future developments
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and Supply Chain to guarantee the availability of appropriate level of products in a timely and cost-efficient manner
• Update the Material Master Data for the EMEA Region
• Support the pre-order system (MobiMedia) for the Sales Team

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in demand planning (preferably in a seasonal consumer goods industry like Outdoor, Sports or Textile)
• Bachelor’s degree
• Good command of MS Office with advanced Excel skills and knowledge of SAP-MM
• Fluent German and English
• Driving license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Well organized, data driven, with analytical skills
• Able to work independently with a solution-oriented mind set
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills combined with assertiveness
