Director, Field Marketing - Corporate Programs (San Francisco,Toronto or Remote) Why We Need You PagerDuty is growing rapidly and is expanding our corporate programs investment within the Field Marketing organization. The Field Marketing team executes geography- and vertical-specific marketing campaigns that help move accounts through our sales cycle faster and more effectively. The Director, Field Marketing - Corporate Programs will oversee our executive relations which includes our Executive Briefing Program, Customer Advisory Boards, and Targeted ABM programs. This role will work closely with sales and customer success, field marketing, digital marketing, corporate marketing and product marketing to deliver results and expand our footprint. The right candidate for this role will closely align executive programs with PagerDuty values, brand, and culture. You will do this by immersing yourself in the company culture and actively learning our voice and our product. You are passionate about being a strong contributor to a team and want to help build our company. You are a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. You proactively map your own quarterly goals to company needs. You enjoy taking ideas from inception to execution and look for ways to be creative, to improve and to optimize with each iteration. You are very detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and are constantly ensuring your work is closely aligned with marketing, sales, and company needs. You understand the importance of and take joy in ensuring there is always a layer of polish on all of your deliverables. You like to think strategically and take a personal approach to marketing, while also understanding your efforts ultimately need to be validated by data.

How You Impact Our Vision

    • Oversee and drive growth of our Executive Relations program which includes our Executive Briefing Center, Customer Advisory Board, any supplemental customer boards or executive events and targeted ABM campaigns
    • Own and execute our executive level ancillary events tied to major corporate and field marketing events throughout the fiscal year, including our Executive Track at PagerDuty Summit, AWS re:Invent and other virtual executive networking opportunities, and future in-person executive programs
    • Own the technology and implement tracking and reporting hygiene across sales and marketing to understand and optimize the executive briefing program
    • Develop and execute new programs with our executive team stakeholders to expand our executive customer relations investments
    • Develop quarterly goals and drive to those goals
    • Report on results of individual programs and campaigns including analytic reports from Salesforce
    • Focus efforts on driving the PagerDuty Majors and Enterprise business, but have experience and understanding of how to leverage our Community team and associated activities as well as the IT/ENG practitioners who support our company

About You

    • 6+ years in sales or marketing with experience in multiple marketing disciplines, including executive relations, customer-facing events, account management, and campaigns
    • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, BriefingEdge, DemandBase, Excel, and metrics reporting

Preferred Skills

    • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to craft and present the narrative
    • Strong communication skills, ensuring all executives and relevant stakeholders are kept up to date on programs
    • Ability to work closely with a distributed executive team and collaborate closely across our geographically dispersed sales team
    • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable in a range of executive-level environments ranging from a C-level dinner to customer advisory board meetings
    • Ability to coordinate, manage, and execute marketing campaigns concurrently
    • Ability to execute quickly with the ability to pivot projects as needs change
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and actively seek candid feedback from relevant stakeholders
    • Travel across North America for executive events as needed (when travel resumes)
