How about you?

We are looking for a Software Engineer PHP to join the Payment Team (20 persons in 2021) and to work with the Head of Payment, the Payment Partner Manager, the Payment Analysts, the Product Manager, the Project Manager, and with the other Engineers of the team.

The Payment Team is in charge of the B2C Subscriptions:

• The payment pages where the customers can use their favorite payment methods (Credit Card, PayPal, Direct Debit, inAppPurchase, Google Play Billing, Carrier Billing, Klarna, ...)
• A catalog of more than 30 000 offers
• 180+ countries
• 40 currencies
• 15 Payment Partners
• Several millions of transactions
• The fraud detection system

What you will do:

• Implementation of new payment methods and new payment partners
• Improve our existing components: fraud detection system, offers manager, eligibility system, ...
• Develop new tools for the Payment Team
• Work on the transition from a Monolith to a “Payment As A Service”
• Increase the reliability of the platform and make your code testable
• Test your work, hand-in-hand with the Quality Assurance team members
• Help the team for the day-to-day run, production incidents and data recovering
• Interact with non-tech teams: product, design, marketing, crm, financial ...

You understand that sometimes you can build a strong code architecture but some other times you must privilege some business opportunities and release a quick and dirty code.

You are open-minded, you love to give your opinion and to listen to the ideas of your colleagues.

You want to share things with your colleagues and to participate in the team’s life with your good mood.

What we are looking for:

• PHP 7 with a strong level
• Strong interest in object paradigm conception
• Knowledge in JavaScript is a plus
• Unit / Integration tests
• Strong initiative and enthusiasm. willpower for improving delivery
• English: written. You will not need to speak fluently but it would be a big plus
• You are thrilled to learn more about the payment ecosystem :)
