Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented Test Automation Engineer to join our team and help us make it happen.
Who we are?
Our teams have a long history of successful innovation, including the world's first Storage Virtualization Data Storage Subsystems.
Our engineers get involved in every step of the product lifecycle from requirements gathering with sponsor users all the way through development and field support.
Currently the group is responsible for the award-winning range of Spectrum Virtualize storage software and devices (Storwize V7000, V5000, Spectrum Virtualize (SAN Volume Controller) and Flashsystem V9000 & 9100).

Our products combine many cutting-edge technologies such as virtualization, real-time frameworks, advanced data reduction and data placement algorithms, clustering, Fibre Channel, iSCSI & iSER, NVME, Flash technologies and many others.
All the above is used for a single and common goal: to deliver highly reliable storage services to many thousands of customers worldwide.
What will YOU do?

• Develop automated tests for complex features
• Design and plan required quality assurance tests over a variety of technologies and environments
• Collaborate with worldwide teams in order to ensure a successful delivery and resolve any technical issues
• Design, build and maintain test setups in accordance to 3rd party partners
• Take part in an Agile team responsible for design, development, test and all technical related aspects of our products

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• At least 3 years of hands on experience in automated testing complex software systems
• Experience in developing and maintaining test suites through formal methods of test design
• Proven experience with scripting language programming (e.g; Python - preferred, Perl, Shell, Bash, etc.)
• Strong debugging and investigation skills
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies and practices
• Team player and ready to collaborate with others
• Responsible, Organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English, Hebrew)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience in storage concepts and technologies
• Experience with large-scale distributed software systems
• Knowledge in high availability, load balancing, clustering
• Experience with the following Operating systems: Linux and distros,
Windows, AIX and VMware (foundation and development)
• Experience with C/C++/Java
• Experience in networking (TCP/IP, FC, Ethernet, iSER, iSCSI, NVMe-OF)
