Hours: Temporary (Working 16 hours/week); Friday, Saturday; Exact Hours TBD

Location: The Polyclinic 1145 Broadway

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To function autonomously in a busy, non-provider based practice coordinating the immunization of patients and staff during Flu season. Provide education on vaccines, benefits, and triage patients and staff to ensure proper vaccine selection.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review patient and employee consents and triage for appropriate vaccine selection.
• Administer Flu vaccines to adult and pediatric populations, including patients, staff, and providers.
• Responsible for day to day operations of very active seasonal flu clinic including inventory management, communication and problem-solving to maintain appropriate patient flow and a high level of patient and staff satisfaction.
• Schedule lunch breaks and coverage for Patient Services Representatives.
• Communicate to EHS when there are issues in delivery of patient care, flow, or patient satisfaction and work to problem solve these issues with the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors of Nursing preferred

Certification / Licensure: Current R.N. License, Washington State.

Experience: One or more years of clinical experience required in healthcare, with outpatient care and pediatric experience preferred.
