Team
You will be a pivotal member of the Area Marketing Team Central Europe, reporting to the Senior Marketing Director. Our team with currently 9 colleagues is responsible for building up the future business pipeline for ServiceNow in DACH and Eastern Europe. We are working in close partnership with as well the area sales teams in Central Europe and as well the global marketing organization.
Role
In your role, you will be responsible to drive innovative and impactful marketing programs focused on our different product lines and solutions, and to build and nurture a vibrant technical community in Central Europe. You will work closely together with your Industry Marketing colleagues in our team, who are owning the overall demand generation in each of our verticalized sales regions. While you support them to drive the larger business units – in particular CSM, HR, ITOM – in their customer portfolio with a verticalize GTM approach, you will lead the demand generation for the yet smaller, more specialized, BU like ITBM, DevOps, ITAM, WSD or Legal Ops. For this you will work intensely with local specialized partners, and as well with the global digital team.

- As each role in our marketing team is focused on demand generation, your primary goal will be to create new business opportunities for ServiceNow and our partners in existing and new accounts. As our key business currently is focused on Enterprise-sized organizations, you will work with an account portfolio of key accounts that covers the top 500 largest companies and organizations in Central Europe
- Our product portfolio, all based on the core Now Platform, is expanding rapidly in both new horizontal and vertical solutions. You should be excited to dive deep into our product details and “get your hands dirty” on technical details – the better you understand and “live and breathe” your products, the better you will drive the right marketing programs.
- Given our strong brand and innovative product portfolio, Inbound marketing is our strongest source of demand generation. Give this, you will be the key person in Central Europe to oversee our product-driven inbound success and work closely with the global digital team to continuously optimize the customer experience and demand generation results for our area.
- Understanding our specific competitive landscape in Central Europe is a key element of success for us. You will be developing a deep perspective on the specific GTM approaches of our key competitors in Central Europe for each product line and use these insights to refine and optimize our own GTM strategy.
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- You should bring a solid foundation of modern b2b marketing skills, covering all aspects from executive events to performance marketing. We believe that marketing is a craftmanship that can and should be mastered. In particular a good foundation and a passion for digital marketing is key
- At least a strong affinity to software development and deeper technical understanding of the Now Platform is a must for this role. You cannot sell to our customers what you don’t understand. Preferably you already have solid software development skills and relevant educational background
- Language is key and crucial tool of every marketeer. As we are serving our marketing in Central Europe bi-lingual in German and English language, this role requires you to bring at least C2 proficiency in German, to be able to copywrite and review German language marketing campaigns, and at least C1 proficiency in English. In both languages you should demonstrate strong copywriting skills in written format, and you should be able to deliver strong presentations (e.g. in Webinars) in German language.

- Given the high complexity of the Central Europe market, it will be of tremendous advantage for this role if you bring some relevant experiences with both our account portfolio in DACH and Eastern Europe.
- Finally, Marketing has become a strongly data-driven discipline. In your role you will be most successful if you have a high degree of command on quantitative and analytical methods and tools, especially a mastery of advanced usage of Excel and PowerBI is a foundational requirement
