Join us as a Test Technician, and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in Kingston, Ontario.
As a Test Technician, you will support the Kingston test programs by providing support for installations, test, operation and maintenance of equipment.You will also provide technical expertise to subcontractors, project team members and less experienced personnel.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform a variety of engineering assignments such as installation, test, operation and maintenance of equipment;
- Investigate the causes of electromechanical equipment/subsystem failures and propose alternate solutions. Devises test procedures to evaluate syste;
- Design special tools required for testing purposes;
- Support Kingston Test Track operation;
- Ensure and respects HSE rules. Report immediately any deviation.
Qualifications
Key requirements:
- Electronic, Electrical Technician or equivalent background;
- You have more than 2 years of relevant experience;
- Experience in technical position or field experience, preferably in rail industry,signaling or manufacturing;
- You are able to work under pressure and clearly communicate issues and problems;
- Good knowledge with web-based tools and computer test equipment;
- Excellent English communication skills, advanced both written and spoken.
