As a valued leader on our team, you will manage the team responsible for applying mathematical models, advanced tools or techniques (such as SAS, Python, and R), and financial industry knowledge to business or financial data, including model results. Your efforts will enable the team to analyze or report on business performance, solve business questions, or inform business decisions. Work may include developing models or prototypes to achieve these goals, but is not the core focus in the role.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Financial Engineering Manager role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Oversee processing or analyzing large amounts of data efficiently using advanced financial engineering tools and techniques. Determine customer's intended uses for a financial analysis or model.
- Supervise a team responsible for financial analysis or forecasting, which may include scenario or sensitivity analysis, stress testing, or attribution analysis.
- Provide guidance on how to execute models and/or interpret model results. Translate the results from the analysis or models for the customer into understandable conclusions.
- Manage a team working directly with model builders to vet new models, suggest changes to existing models, or analyze model performance data
- Oversee data and systems analysis, validation, and regression testing.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Desired Experience
- Experience in Financial Institution Regulatory Capital preferred
- Cross-functional business skills with excellent facilitation and communication skills, strong influencing skills, and ability to effectively present to and work with senior management
- Collective capabilities for leadership, including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring
- Background in Economics, Finance, mortgage finance, or analytics/forecasting
- Technical skills preferred; SAS/SQL, Python, R, Tableau
- Ability to digest complex issues and communicate in concise manner
