Product Marketing

Cisco has been designing and selling a broad range of technologies that have been powering the Internet since 1984. We are integrating intent-based technologies across networking, security, collaboration, applications and the cloud. Our Customer Solutions Marketing team works across all of the Product Marketing teams to bring focus to the leading innovations and technology.

These technologies are crafted to help our customers manage more users, devices and things connecting to their networks and accelerating their cloud adoption. This will enable us to provide customers with a highly secure, intelligent platform for their digital business.

As our customers add billions of new connections to their enterprises, and as more applications move to a multi-cloud environment, the network becomes even more critical. Our customers are navigating change at an outstanding pace and our mission is to encourage new possibilities for them by helping transform their infrastructure, expand applications and analytics, address their security needs, and empower their teams. We believe that our customers are looking for intent-based networks that provide meaningful business value through automation, security, and analytics across private, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. Who You’ll Work with

The Customer Solutions Marketing Team combines product managers & marketers, user experience & technical marketing engineers, creative designers, and website developers. Our evangelist will collaborate with Corporate Communications, Product Marketing and Product Managers.

Who You Are

You should be able to;

  • Tell stories that encourage passion and amplify our product opinions, vision/roadmap, and thought leadership
  • Build support for our product technology to establish it as the next standard for the security industry
  • Be a specialist on our product use cases, customer needs, market trends, and the threat landscape
  • Present on and demo at industry events around the world, on webcasts, and in conference rooms at the largest companies to help audiences understand our product capabilities and benefits
  • Present to Cisco Sales & Partner SE teams about our latest use cases and capabilities
  • Be the sales force’s key contact to help technically close the sale for our largest opportunities

Our Minimum Qualifications for this Role are;

  • 5+ years in evangelism, technical pre-sales, or customer success for a security-focused product. 12+ years' overall relevant industry experience.
  • Consistent track record of explaining new, ground-breaking solutions to enterprise customers—both the strategic benefits and practical use cases
  • Demonstrated presentation and webcast/video recording expertise—share links of your work
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and willing to travel ~25%

Our Desired Skills Are;

  • Engaging, charismatic presenter who's comfortable in front of audiences of all sizes and with both technical and non-technical buyers including C-level executives
  • Technically-savvy to set up demo/lab environments in various cloud, network and endpoint architectures
  • Keen ability to translate sophisticated ideas into various mediums for effective consumption with a strong attention to detail
  • Knows how to build strong relationships with Engineering & Sales & Marketing teams to contribute to revenue goals and product roadmaps
