PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Test Integration Management Engineer (TIME) is responsible for structuring and managing of a Test Integration Management organization within a project. He is the technical leader of his TIME team on a daily business to secure the delivery of his test related activities in quality, time and cost (QTC) within his project. He is also responsible for application and compliance of the integrated test strategy within his project for the standardized processes and tools of the CoE (Centre of Excellence) Testing and Validation. The TIME is responsible for compliance with the agreed test schedule and budget in the TIME responsible area. Linked to that the TIME is also responsible for the organisation and hand over of all required homologation documents to the customer and / or the homologation authority.
Responsibilities
• Securitization of committed TIME deliverables, regarding preparation and execution of test verification and validation activities, in QTC;
• Set up a TIME organization in the project, technical management of the TIME core team and coordination of the allocated interface resources;
• Application and securitization of the overall optimized test strategy in the project;
• Application, optimization and maintenance of the TIME project schedule (TIMEP), analysis and mitigation concept in case of delays occurring;
• Continuously alignment with the Head of Vehicle Validation and the CoE Testing and Validation regarding project status and issues, responsible for delivery of the defined, standardized KPI setup;
• Compliance with the agreed test schedule and budget in the TIME responsible area and mitigation concept of delays and exceeding`s occurring.
Qualifications
• Degree (Master or Dipl.-Ing.) in technical engineering (mechanical or electrical) or industrial engineering and management;
• Experienced in managing multi-functional engineering projects in at least one of the areas: subsystem test, integrated commissioning, vehicle type test;
• Preferably experienced in railway industry environment;
• Experience in project planning;
• Cross functional management experience
• Systematic and transparent working style;
• Clear communication style;
• Solution finding for critical issues;
• Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
The minimum salary for this position, according to the collective agreement, is € 3133,87 gross / month based on full-time employment (14 times a year). An overpayment is possible depending on relevant work experience and / or qualification.
