Purpose and Objective:

Ariba, Inc seeks a Senior Developer at our Plano, Texas location responsible for working on cloud (on-demand) software.

Expectations and Tasks:

Work with PI components including ESR/IB etc. Integrate SAP ERP with Ariba and third party applications/ protocols. Work on cloud (on-demand) software, SAP ERP with Ariba and third party applications/ protocols. Work with SAP Finance and Controlling, SAP Sales and Distribution, SAP Materials Management, SAP Master Data Governance, SAP Funds Management, SAP Human Resource domains. Work on IT infrastructure of IS-OIL downstream, Utilities and CPG domain industries. Work with SAP ABAP backend programming to design and support functionality in ECC/ S4 HANA ERP. Work with ABAP debugging including performance analysis. Utilize knowledge ABAP OO concepts, ABAP proxy and IDOC development. Perform SAP application development and maintenance with SAP-ABAP, SAP XI/PI integration, cloud integration. Triage and debug various customer reported issues in ECC / S4 HANA ERP to facilitate communications between SAP and cloud/on-premise applications. Integrate back-end ERP such as SAP ECC and SAP S4HANA to Ariba applications. Work with SAP Process integration, SAP Hana cloud integration, SAP Hana cloud platform.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.

Work Experience:

• Experience must involve 4 years in the following: SAP application development and maintenance with SAP-ABAP, SAP XI/PI integration, cloud integration focused on SAP Finance and Controlling, SAP Sales and Distribution, SAP Materials Management, SAP Master Data Governance, SAP Funds Management, SAP Human Resource domains; IT infrastructure of IS-OIL downstream, utilities and CPG domain industries; R/3 ABAP Data Dictionary, Report, Dialog Programming, Interface programming including RFC, ALE/Idocs, ABAP-proxies, OData services, Conversions using BDC,LSMW, batch input programs, Enhancements techniques, BADI, BAPI, User exits, Forms including smartforms, SAP scripts, adobe forms, OOPs programming and workflows and Web-dynpro; SAP upgrades in ECC, S4 HANA, SRM, MDM, SOLMAN 7.5, PI; SPAUU/SPDD activities as part of upgrades in ECC / S4 HANA ERP; SAP ABAP backend programming to any design and support any functionality/feature in ECC/ S4 HANA ERP; Design ALE- Idocs architecture for sending and receiving data, Inbound/Outbound web proxies for data extractions and inbound postings; Integration of IDOC/ webservice / Proxy with SAP-PI or Cloud Integration; Write Idocs reports to extract Idocs status and monitoring tools for Idoc and proxy monitoring in ECC / S4 HANA ERP; ABAP SRM; Enhancing shopping cart, PO screens, validated workflow logic for approving PO, created PO confirmation for ECC, standalone scenario; Integrating back-end ERP such as SAP ECC and SAP S4HANA (versions 1605, 1610) to various Ariba CI9 application applications; SAP Materials management, SAP Finance and Controlling, SAP Master Data Governance, SAP Funds Management; Ariba network CI9 integration scenarios such as purchasing, invoicing, payments/remittances to suppliers, early payment discounts (PayMeNow) and Master data replication from ERP to various Ariba applications such as Ariba P2P or Ariba Sourcing; SAP Process integration (both dual stack and single stack with versions 7.4 and 7.5) based on graphical mapping and XSLT mapping; Technical integration of SAP products with 3rd party applications using different technologies ALE-IDOCs, XML, File, web proxies, BAPIs etc. using SAP XI, Ariba CI9; Configuration of material master, vendor master, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, automatic payments, manual payments, and request for quotations to execute various procurement scenarios to support integration in SAP ERP; Performance tuning techniques with Run Time Analysis SAP provided tools, SQL Trace, Code Inspector; Code Optimization / Modular Techniques; Triaging and debugging various customer reported issues in ECC / S4 HANA ERP and SAP PI platform; Troubleshoot adapters available in SAP on-premise and cloud integrations to facilitate communications between SAP and cloud/on-premise applications, including Cloud connector; Change control management to control transport management system in ERP and integration tools like SAP PI, cloud integration.
