Responsibilities
- Organization Management Information Process: Analysis of the monthly results of the Rolling Stock unit, identification, and instruction of necessary adjustments;
- Highlighting variances in comparison to budget and forecast. Communication to the Head of Finance;
- Preparation of the monthly key figure report including forecast in cooperation with the local controlling teams;
- Review with the Finance Manager for Rolling Stock;
- Preparation of additional analyses at the portfolio level;
- Support of the Finance Manager for Rolling Stock D portfolio during Forecast, Budget, and Strategic Planning;
- Ensure that all milestones set by the regional FP&A team (financial planning and analysis) are met on time;
- Business partner for the Finance Rolling Stock portfolio lead
- Interface to the regional FP&A Team (Financial Planning and Analysis) regarding Cash and Bond Management for Rolling Stock portfolio;
- Support of the local project and site controlling teams in case of problems, inquiries, or specific questions;
- Member of the regional FP&A team (financial planning and analysis), responsible for consolidating the key figures of the entire Rolling Stock portfolio in the forecast (quarterly) and budget (annual);
- Support in the preparation of the regional budget presentation.
- Provide analysis to support the reviews with Group Finance and BT President.
Qualifications
- University degree in economics or finance
- At least 4 years of work experience
- Experience in a similar position, in an international environment
- Very good understanding of controlling and financial processes and financial tools
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good technical accounting knowledge
- Work experience in a multicultural and changing environment
- Good communication and coordination skills
- English fluent in spoken and written, knowledge of German is an advantage
