Position Summary:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees after they finish training and before they begin their unassisted shifts on the floor
  • Communicate and reinforce company values, vision, and culture to new employees
  • Work closely with Core Services employees to monitor performance, provide feedback and conduct training refreshers when necessary
  • Support training classes when needed and will need to build a strong working relationship with the training team to ensure that employees are receiving dedicated support as they exit training to enable success moving forward
  • Verify that hourly employees are trained on company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job
  • Coach and develop employees and encourage and motivate employees to perform their best
  • Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures: maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and co-workers.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

  • Intraday - Monitor the queue’s in IEX and respond to Intraday and raise with manager if there is an associate who is incorrect status (this includes weekly reporting and escalating to Team Managers and ongoing issues with associates)
  • OMIN Channel monitoring - Check ageing of all associate queues and report Team Managers where possible
  • Associate Engagement Survey (AES) - Assist Managers with co-ordinating AES meetings and activities in the centre
  • Co-ordinate with the Home teams - facilitate the application process for Associates who wish to work from home
  • Act as liaison with Management, IR, HR and Health & Safety to ensure a smooth applications and transition process
  • Co-ordinate Planned Training – Planned Meetings, Coaching Sessions etc. for Managers and their team members
  • Co-ordinate Birthday and any recognition programmes with the Operations Team
  • Distribution Lists-Own and manage group email distribution lists
  • Empower Cancellation Report- Manage the report and ensure to keep key stakeholders apprised of relevant updates
  • FAM trip processing-process applications for Associates who wish to avail of this benefit. Liaise with HR
  • Guest Visitor Support-Communicate and co-ordinate upcoming hotel visits. Act as point of contact
  • Headset Management-ensure that all headsets are tracked and accounted for (Leavers and New Hires)
  • JAM Birthday/Anniversary Notifications & Overhead TV Communications
  • Location for Emergency Skilling-be the primary station for initiating and managing any site Emergency
  • Systems access for LOA / Also return to work support
  • Opening IT tickets for associates and assisting with any day to day difficulties that the associates might have.
  • Running reports in Empower and assigning cases to associates
  • Fire Drill reports – Test and run report from time to time to make sure that the accurate site headcount is available in case of an emergency
  • Help with the shadowing sessions for visitors – This includes Hotel visits and visits from senior management
  • Correction Tracker - Emails and reservations
  • Update the distribution lists and access to folders
  • Realtime monitoring – Provide support to monitor call queue’s and look at the real time adherence for Associates (Highlight to Operations any opportunities for improvement)
  • Floor Communication – Work with Operations to send out any floor communications Other Tasks
  • Manage OT/DT requests from associates
  • Manual Handling Training - following certification, provide Manual Handling Training to all new hires and other Associates as required
  • Marsha Administration – Resetting Passwords, Requests, Logins
  • New Hire Access to Systems-Request EIDS, email access etc
  • New Hire Badges/Lockers-Act as Concierge for all new hires. Take photos for ids, issue lockers etc. Be point of contact for new hire queries
  • Occupational First Aid-Join the existing First Aid team
  • Org Charts-update org charts as required and make ensure the site headcount is available on a daily/weekly basis
  • Pull Calls with Alerts & Hotel Issues-Access calls and pass to the relevant stakeholder for review
  • Skills Auditing
  • Stand Up – AAW Events-prepare posters and communications as required
  • Tracking Training for Compliance-manage records of required and completed training
  • Assist management with any ad-hoc initiatives and projects for the center
  • Run and share readership report with the team managers on a monthly basis
