Internship/Praktikum: Cloud Web UI - Cloud Front-End Development

Job Description

Introduction
We are looking for a Software Developer that supports our Cloud Functions and Code Engine UI development team in a challenging porting project re-basing a WebUI written on AngularJS to React. You will learn a lot about Cloud Front-End development environments applying and growing your development skills while working with us on the tasks at hand in our Cloud Functions UI development team that is located in the Research & Development Lab in Böblingen.
In your internship you will experience true agile cloud-native development, work in an international project team with experienced developers, and get first-hand knowledge on the Cloud services IBM provides putting to action Cloud and serverless technologies like Kubernetes, knative, Tekton, Jenkins, etc.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Cloud Web UI - gain experience in Cloud Front-End Development
Are you excited about working on an international cross functional team working on a state-of-the-art Cloud Web User Interface for an IBM Cloud service? Do you want to leverage your SW development skills in an agile Front-End Development team providing valuable enhancements to an established Cloud Service?
Do you already have skills and experiences in the areas of Software Development architecture, design & implementation (frontend and/or backend), Node.js, TypeScript, React development, and/or Agile development methods?

• TypeScript
• Software development & microservices architecture and cloud technology in general, specifically Cloud Functions (aka OpenWhisk) and Kubernetes container
