RigUp is changing the way work is done in the energy industry. Each one of our teams exists to move us closer to our north star -- to empower the people who power the world. The Revenue Operations team at RigUp is dedicated to accelerating growth and providing more predictable revenue, by unifying and optimizing the processes that generate the company’s top line success. Rigup is searching for a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the transformation of our company wide architecture and implementation of Salesforce.com across multiple lines of business. In this highly visible role, you will ensure that the overall Salesforce solution at RigUp optimizes our investment in Salesforce, balancing business needs with technical complexity, to meet our business strategy. Successful candidates must be resourceful, detail-oriented, kind, and self-directed, with a passion for understanding our business and implementing technical requirements in a way that fulfills that need. Outstanding communication and listening skills, genuine interest in fostering teamwork, and a willingness to provide honest feedback are keys to the success of our projects.

What you'll be doing:

    • Lead and facilitate project discovery to define business, functional, and technical requirements
    • Develop overall solution design in collaboration with Salesforce Developers to support multiple verticals across the organization
    • Coordinate and negotiate solutions for complex, cross-functional requirements with multiple parties and interests, across Salesforce and other technologies
    • Research current and emerging technologies and propose changes to enable growth and mature our processes
    • Assess the business impact of proposed solutions and be able to articulate the strategy to a diverse group of stakeholders
    • Assist in the development of Data Models and Security strategies
    • Maintaining the team backlog, prioritizing requests, creating user stories, and vetting needs with stakeholders for further clarification
    • Participate in team demos and retrospectives to provide feedback, make changes, and improve the overall quality of work and deliverables
    • Work with various stakeholders to analyze business needs, elicit requirements and design solutions that enable the business to achieve its objectives, improve user experience, and drive system adoption related to the Salesforce environment.
    • Act as Product Owner for all Scrum and sprint related activities (scheduling & facilitating meetings, documentation, and communication to stakeholders)

What you should have:

    • Experience leading IT projects and managing cross-functional teams.
    • Deep understanding of SFDC concepts, development, and best practices. Able to identify the appropriate use of native tools vs customization via Apex/Visualforce development. Aligning these recommendations to best practices.
    • Strong team communication and technical writing skills. The ability to take the lead role in developing comprehensive solutions and documentation
    • Autonomous self-starter, capable of working through ambiguous problems quickly and gracefully with a huge emphasis on communication
    • An unwavering attention to detail, the ability to deliver a timely and accurate product, and the aptitude to strike a balance between the two
    • Experience in developing System Architecture Documents, Data Model Documentation, and Security Model Documentation
    • Understanding of complex business processes and ability to apply scenarios to Salesforce Use Cases
    • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical business users
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; experience facilitating meetings
    • Experience with sprint (scrum) methodologies
    • Strives for high quality deliverables
    • Ability to prioritize and manage backlogs and projects
