Job Description

Due to the current health crisis related to COVID-19 and the escalating visa/travel restrictions in place, we're currently unable to extend offers to anyone who cannot work from Japan due to lockdown visa/travel restrictions, or other restrictive measures until further notice. Consequently, we will be prioritizing candidates who can start in this location by set date as expected. We're keeping the situation under review and would adjust our position should the restrictive measures be removed later on.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience with managing digital marketing campaigns, online measurement and operations driving customer impact
  • Experience with pitching digital solutions to clients or direct sales experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with technical aspects of digital and programmatic advertising and experience working with product teams on scalable business solutions
  • Experience in search ecosystem with a focus on accelerating customer success, growth, and driving product adoption
  • Experience across automation, audience, targeting, attribution, and assets
  • Ability to take initiative in managing accounts, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs), demonstrating a self-driven attitude
  • Ability to process large data sets and identify patterns of significance.

Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Search Specialist, you will manage the Search strategy for key clients across the entire sales stages. You will need to drive in depth solution to help our top search spenders achieve their customer business objectives in partnership with Large Customer Sales (LCS) Teams through pitching and activating new products and by leveraging the interplay of 5As (i.e., Ads, Automation, Audience, Attribution, and Assets). You'll also contribute experience in search solutions and an understanding of clients’ business objectives, advising them on how to grow their existing business, maximizing return on their marketing investment, and unlocking new growth opportunities. In this role, you'll also be an advisor and consultant, working across functions and alongside global teams while being a client advocate within Google.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-site and cross-functional teams to drive short- and long-term account growth. Drive conversations on measurement and attribution of Search media, along with the Measurement and Attribution specialist
  • Lead, drive, and scale product adoption (e.g., Full Auto Bidding strategies, NLC Attribution, Targeting Automation, Dynamic Creatives, etc.)
  • Partner in designing and publishing playbooks/guides on product solutions and industry best practices. Contribute to product development through feature requests and feedback to the Google Ads Product team
  • Demonstrate and undestanding of client business objectives and deep-dive into frame solutions. Lead a holistic Search strategy and be the Search ambassador to drive performance for client
