Gigya-SAP is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The position is located at Gigya-SAP’s R&D center, Azrieli Towers, Tel Aviv.

The primary challenge for the DevOps engineer is maintaining the high availability of Gigya’s cloud services.

GIGYA was acquired by SAP on 2017 and joined SAP Customer Data Cloud division. We are located in Tel Aviv at Azrieli towers. We are all about managing customer identities in a transparent way that respects the users’ privacy. The joint mission of SAP and Gigya is to provide consumers with the best possible experience in an increasingly digital world, with the utmost respect for user privacy and protecting personal data.

Responsibilities include:

• Ownership of overall operational security aspects.
• Write scripts that improve our security monitoring, installation and deployment capabilities.
• Responsible for patch and vulnerability management and their deployments.
• Maintain servers by applying OS updates and security patches.
• Diagnose security issues in our testing and production environments.
• Participate in on-call hours and be available on weekends in case of emergency.
• Working from the Tel-Aviv office.

Ideal candidates will have:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as Linux Devops Engineer.
• Experience deploying software systems from the build phase -> test environment -> production environment.
• Good working knowledge with scripting languages: Python -Must and Bash - Advantage.
• Experience installing, operating and maintaining operating systems: Linux - Must! Win - Advantage.
• Experience in cloud and virtualized environments, such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba, GCP, OpenStack.
• Experience with TerraForm, Puppet and Git.
• Experience operating and setting up security monitoring and alerts.
• Ability to find and fix security related problems. (Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents)
• Ability to generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders
• Professional-level English - reading, writing and speaking.

Extra points for:

• Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.
• Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
