Job Summary

As Director, Global Services Solutions Center - APAC , you will lead the remote delivery aspects of the Managed Services and Professional Services to the global customers. As a key member of the worldwide GSSC team, you ensure that it remains extremely focused on enabling growth of the adoption of the skills for the strategic services such as cloud, migration, automation and Managed Services. Critical outcomes include the achievement of growth in the towers of excellence (Cloud, Migration, Automation and Managed Services), quality of the service measured through a quality measurement system for both MS and PS, contribution to financial performance objectives by partnering with the field professional services and clarifying the scope and pricing of the projects/MS engagements, understanding and meeting customer requirements, building long-term relationships, and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the Global, APAC Professional Services, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Portfolio and operations teams to drive total customer satisfaction, services business enhancements and growth.

This position requires a dynamic, hard-working and ambitious individual, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Individuals will also possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and have experience managing and evolving professional services consulting practices.

Essential Functions

Accountable for quality of the services being delivered to the field professional services globally

Responsible for leading the cloud, migration, automation and Managed Services towers

Responsible for creating and aligning the APAC GSSC plan to the worldwide GSSC business strategy and worldwide Services & Support strategy

Provide the Clarity, Climate and Competence to enable the GSSC organisation that can execute the GSSC plan

Manage the delivery of NetApp Managed Service solutions within APAC and Support all Managed Services escalations.

Team with Professional Services leadership to deliver services within all Geo’s.

Act as the Senior services resource for all customer-facing meetings, if required by the field PS

Drive corporate best practices throughout the GSSC teams to ensure consistent, high quality and repeatable solutions

Contribute to the planning and budget process as it relates to planning, goal attainment, expense management, and revenue recognition

Manage, track and forecast financial targets and provide reporting and submission of financial data to support corporate actions

Job Requirements

Experience with :-

Implementation and execution of a robust Keystone services delivery model and pipeline

Settingup and implementation of a quality measurement system for the services delivered

Setting up the tower review model

Managing customers engagement/escalation independently and drive positive customer experience

Managing and enhancing a world-class services organization

Experience in building a services practice

Senior management experience with PS and MS, data center solutions, data migration, storage solutions, cloud, security, automation and data protection

Broad exposure to a variety of technologies/concepts and management in a distributed environment.

Broad exposure to a variety of Consumption offering concepts and Operations management in Managed Service customer framework

Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as, presentation, customer and business skills

Proven ability to contribute and manage the delivery elements of MS and PS line of business

Education
  • A Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a technical or business discipline is required, or equivalent combination of relevant education/certifications/training
  • A minimum of 15 years in a field based senior services management position with a minimum of 40 direct staff is required.
  • Must have experience supporting Professional Services and Managed Services
  • ITIL and PMP certifications are an advantage
  • A global service delivery experience is preferred
