We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Specialist - Frankfort, KY to join our team in Frankfort, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).

We have a position open for a Desktop Support in Frankfort, KY. The chosen candidate will provide support to several auxiliary buildings in the area. The chosen candidate will need to have experience working on desktops, laptops, tablets, copiers, and any type of mobile device. The candidate may also assist with server support, switch support, and wiring. Prior work in a ticketing system is a plus, but not a must. The location supports many high profile agencies and the ability to pass security certifications is paramount.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of desktop or helpdesk experience

  • Experience in customer service oriented workplace
  • IT experience and knowledge in the following.
  • Desktop Support (Onsite and remote)
  • Windows 7 and 10 Operating System.
  • Entry level networking experience
  • General Server/NAS knowledge
  • Office Suite (particularly Outlook 2013 or higher)
  • Application knowledge (adobe, java, etc.)
  • Experience in phone center and/or helpdesk work
  • ITIL experience/familiarity preferred
  • Experience working in a lively and ever changing environment (adaptability)
  • Experience working with, and as an active part of, a lively team (team player)
  • Multi-tasking ability
  • Strong documentation skills (clear, concise)
  • Experience with Active Directory (our most used tool)
  • Experience with ticket tracking tools
  • Experience with remote support or desktop support
