Summary We are looking for a Financial Analyst to assist in providing accurate and timely information on the Business Unit’s performance and use of partnership funds. You will consolidate and analyze financial data, considering company’s goals and financial standing. You will track, research and analyze financial information to help the business unit make well informed decisions regarding fund use, present progress and monitor financial movements.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate, track, and analyze partnership program financial data (expenses, budgets, invoices, accruals, etc.) considering the business units and company’s goals and financial standing
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks as it pertains to program funds
- Develop financial models, conduct bench-marking and process analysis
- Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
- Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior general fund manager based on sound analysis
- Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
- As needed, coordinate BU budget submissions with management
- Collaborate with Central Finance, Central Accounting, and business unit department heads and representatives in the tracking and reporting of spend
- Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
- Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting or related areas
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance related field
- Ability to synthesize complex analysis and ideas to communicate them in a straightforward manner (both verbally and via e-mail / PowerPoint)
- Experience building and maintaining complex financial models, developing and using financial modeling tools, and financial statement construction
- Highly accountable, with ability to independently lead and coordinate projects across multiple subject and functional areas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience in a high growth and/or payment industry preferred
