Purpose of Job

**USAA is looking for a Manager in Houston, TX to lead a team of Property Field Adjusters**

Develops employees through regular coaching and feedback that leads to improved results. Executes process improvements and leads organizational process changes. Tasks:

• Provides consistent coaching and guidance related to a variety of aspects associated to the claim including but not limited to the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, settlement, and subrogation.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 2 or more years demonstrated leadership which may include people management experience in P&C Claims, Financial Services Industry, Customer Service Industry, or equivalent military service/environment AND actively enrolled in pursuing a degree may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Minimum Requirements:

• 6 or more years P&C industry functional work experience OR 4 or more years P&C experience plus military service experience OR 4 or more years P&C experience and 2 years prior customer service-related experience OR 4 or more years P&C experience and a Manager Candidate School graduate.
• Acquisition and maintenance of applicable insurance adjuster license.

Preferred Experience

• Previous or current Xactimate knowledge and experience
• Prior P&C leadership experience with proven coaching and development skills
• Masters, MBA, and/or CPCU, SCLA, AIC
• Currently reside within 50mi of Houston Metro?
