Position summary

Our Regulatory & Legal Support team helps Government & Public Service clients implement and operate their regulatory and compliance programs to preserve the reputation and public trust of the agency.re

Work you’ll do

  • C reate a current state, future state and ideal state process map.
  • Provide a consistent set of models and templates to document the requirements.
  • Elicit business requirements for information technology solutions using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis, process mapping and development of requirements/specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, determining whether the stated requirements are clear, complete, consistent and unambiguous, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Communicate and collaborate proactively with external and internal stakeholders including both the Business Lines and the IT groups to analyze information needs, business systems and functional requirements, and deliver artifacts in accordance to the PMO Charter and Framework.
  • Organize, analyze and interpret all communication between involved stakeholders. These may include the development of scenarios (represented as user stories in agile methods).
  • Serve as a conduit between the stakeholders (internal and external) and the software development team through which work flows, collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision, and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

Our Regulatory & Legal Support team helps clients assess and transform the process, controls, and infrastructure needed to address a wide variety of regulatory and compliance risks. Our professionals assist clients with how to best meet regulatory expectations, reduce risk, and become more confident in their programs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1 + year(s) of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience working with stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations, and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Travel up to 20% (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of financial statement audit, forensic accounting and/or risk modeling
  • Financial Industry experience.
