What you’ll do

  • Reporting to the Brand Lead you will develop design standards, documentation, and systems alongside your team members to enhance our design practices
  • You will provide a remarkable service to the rest of Hotjar when they have creative needs - whether that be a new creative advert, a new hero image for our blog, a new set of illustrations to help explain our product roadmap (to name a few)
  • You will contribute ideas to provide outstanding (ROI-led) brand marketing campaigns that “wow” our target audience
  • You will help to create our brand vision and assist us in developing the visual guidelines that ensure the consistency of our brand going forward
  • You will oversee the creation and testing of digital assets, and where necessary iterate and improve those new designs based on user feedback and the performance of those assets

You will mentor other internal designers and external freelancers to increase the skill and competency of all designers


What we're after

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience designing digital experiences and systems
  • You have a knock-our-socks off portfolio that shows how truly experienced you are in your craft. It goes without saying that you are an expert at data-driven design with deep experience creating digital assets
  • You have experience advocating for, creating and nurturing design systems
  • You go to the core of problems and base design decisions on qualitative and quantitative data
  • You are creative and can come up with innovative ideas and implement them quickly
  • You always think MVP first, collaborate effectively with marketers and developers and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is €50,000 to €70,000 annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
