The Software Engineer Sr. Analyst supports the Price Suite Application projects and work efforts surrounding the following tasks:

• Participate in projects associated with the technology domain, which includes installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts

• Document changes and implementation plans within the given technology domain

• Work with assigned Software Engineer to develop automation-testing strategy and convert the manual regression suite to automation scripts using WAF framework

• Perform integration testing, SIT/UAT testing, regression testing, back-end data validations for lower environments and validations in production environment

• Perform moderate to complex test data conditioning

• Create/execute SQL queries using MS SQL Server

• Prepare test plans and create/execute/maintain test cases as part of functional testing, and document all phases of the SDLC process

• Perform ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents

• Provide input to timelines for upcoming releases, design and write test specifications to thoroughly exercise complex application functions

• Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects

• Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members

• Interact with business partners and technical team to share information, clarify logic, and trouble shoot defects

**Flexibility to support late night and weekend installations beyond normal working hours as needed.**


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of HP ALM experience
  • 1+ year of SQL experience
  • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: script automation, Selenium, Java, Unified Functional Testing (UFT) or VBScript
  • 3+ years of technology experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology object oriented: programming: C++, JavaScript, or Java
  • 2+ years of Agile experience
  • 3+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • An industry-standard technology certification


Other Desired Qualifications

• Price Suite knowledge and testing experience a plus
