The Lab in Brno operates in four major development areas: Globalization Services, Application Innovation Services, S/4HANA User Experience and S/4HANA Finance directly supporting thousands of active SAP customers. Developers are directly involved in the newest products, which SAP plans to bring to market, using the latest technology such as in-memory computing, cloud-based applications, and advanced user interfaces.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
FXU team in Brno, the unit that drives the next generation user experience of SAP’s flagship ERP product S/4HANA, is looking for a back-end developer (with main focus on ABAP and related back-end technologies) to join our Fiori applications development team.

Established in SAP Labs Czech Republic in 2016, we are developers, designers, quality engineers and product managers who work together to build innovative SAP Fiori applications as well as extend the technology platform itself.

We’re looking for motivated and talented developers who want to embark on an exciting journey with us to create innovative, high quality core technology components with care and attention to detail.
Developing software at SAP is more than just writing efficient code - it’s a team effort: starting at product definition and design, including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documenting the results. We follow agile software engineering methods and are always in close contact with our customers and stakeholders to acquire early feedback.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION
• University degree, preferably in an IT or a related discipline (computer science, physics, mathematics, business economics etc.) or another adequate qualification. Graduates are welcome.
• Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Programming skills in at least one common programming language. ABAP experience is an advantage as you will use technologies such as CDS Views, Fiori, RAP, HANA DB.
• Experience with SQL.
• Logical, analytical, process-oriented thinking. Effectiveness in problem-solving, results oriented, but focused on quality, pragmatic and hands-on person.
• Passion for fast paced environments, work challenges and an international set-up.
• Having a logical approach to problem solving and ability to respond to detailed queries.
• Ability to work independently, eagerness to learn and explore new topics.

WORK EXPERIENCE
• Experience in software development (graduates are welcome).
• Knowledge of SAP development environment is an asset (but not essential).
