The regional Supply Chain organization in EMEA manages a broad range of manufacturing sites and suppliers to support HPE's customers in EMEA.

As part of that organization, EMEA EG Logistics is responsible for all logistics activities:

  • We work with best in class logistics service providers to deliver more than 600,000 shipments per year, supporting 7B$ of business
  • We manage shipments from all regions to our customers into more than 100 countries
  • Our priority is operational excellence with a strong focus on lead times and cost optimization

How will you mark:

  • You willl identify opportunities for process improvement and develop recommendations.
  • You will independently execute process analysis and drive improvement cycles.
  • You will drive backlog management and inventory management.
  • You will gather data on country and region level to synthesize information using complex analysis, and delivers demand forecasts to carriers.
  • You will coordinate or lead regional and global business unit teams to maintain and enhance the current business processes.
  • You will review performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • You will contribute to priority projects with complex analysis and assists in developing recommendations.
  • You will communicate requirements and guidelines to relevant parties.
  • You will mentor junior-level staff.
  • You will support Regulatory Trade Compliance programs.
  • You will collaborate across countries within a region.
  • You will have the ability to influence a particular business within a region.
  • You will interact with Managers and Directors.
  • You will lead projects of moderate complexity.
  • You will utilize the full range of quantitative and qualitative business models and analyse to contribute to large projects.

About you:

  • You have first level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.
  • You have 4-6 years of experience in a supply chain function.
  • You have 4-6 years of experience in a logistics function.
  • You have strong understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
  • You have very strong analytical and data modeling skills.
  • You have very strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • You have proven relationship management skills.
  • You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and data modeling.
  • You have SAP knowledge
  • You have project management skills to drive improvement initiatives.
  • You have strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • You have strong understanding of HPE's overall supply chain strategy.
  • You have good understanding of national and international trade requirements to align customs/trade function with business objectives.
  • You have excellent knowledge of inventory analysis and inventory management processes.
  • You have developed leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management
