About Credible Mortgage Operations:

Credible has already saved our borrowers more than $165 million in interest on their student and personal loans - and we aren’t stopping there. We have built a mortgage refinance platform that brings the transparency and savings we have delivered to borrowers in our existing product verticals to the mortgage industry.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a meticulous, collaborative, and organized Mortgage Loan Officer Coordinator to join a fast-paced, rapidly growing company on a mission to provide simplicity, choice, and unbiased support to our borrowers’ mortgage refinance decisions.

Credible is looking for a top-performing Mortgage Loan Officer Coordinator that is energized by helping borrowers make smart financial decisions. A successful candidate will have a proven success collaborating with Loan Officers, and paying attention to the key details.

Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge of Mortgage Process to include submission of files and clearing conditions
• Working knowledge of the mortgage process from end to end
• Keeping both the borrower and loan officer informed about the status of the loan file by adhering to our loan tracking and communication standards
• Sharing feedback about our borrower experience and backend process with our Product, Engineering, and Business Operations teams to refine and perfect our Mortgage Operation
• Verifying and analyzing financial information and documentation provided by borrower to satisfy underwriting conditions
• Mortgage Underwriting Experience for both wage and self-employed borrowers

Education and Experience:

• 4+ years of experience facilitating Conforming and Jumbo mortgages, preferably for a Broker
• Experience with Encompass
• Experience with all applicable laws surrounding consumer mortgages
• Strong understanding of federal, state and/or regulatory mortgage lending requirements, mortgage product types, pricing, and underwriting guidelines
• Mortgage Underwriting Experience for both wage and self-employed borrowers
• Previous experience in Financial Technology
