About the role

We’re looking for our first Business Analyst to contribute to Robinhood’s growth by ensuring Robinhood and its internal partners get exceptional value from our vendors. You will play a critical role on the Vendor Management team to scale our processes, tools, and workflows through data visualization. This role requires a mix of operational and data analysis, strong technical acumen, and collaborative skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about relentless process improvement, has experience analyzing and deriving insights from data using SQL, analytics and Business Intelligence tools to support in communicating progress towards vendor performance, and has rewired systems to speed up a company’s rate of growth.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Maintaining information in the vendor management system, tracking escalated issues and creating a root cause analysis.
  • Cataloging processes, SLAs, contracts and ensuring all vendor management documents are captured.
  • Acting as a key partner to Procurement leadership and partners across the business to design and present critical data to improve system performance.
  • Partnering with Enterprise Risk, Security, Internal Audit, Finance, and various internal organizations, and recommend improvements to drive key performance indicators.
  • Build dashboards that enable internal business partners to understand vendor performance and provide actionable plans.
  • Assisting in the technology and program roadmap for the Vendor Management team, including SLA performance, managing day to day reporting and internal feedback from primary business owners on critical vendors.
  • Proactively support data needs related to business weekly, monthly, quarterly business reviews with existing vendors.
  • Extracting insights from our analytics platform to proactively spot issue areas and recommend solutions

Some things we consider critical for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience creating dashboards/visualizations using, e.g. Tableau, Looker (or similar BI tool)
  • 2+ years of experience in the field of data management, analytics or reporting.
  • Expertise and ability to consult and make informed assessments of vendor performance, processes, tools, workflows, and systems.
  • Passion for improving systems and running pilot tests to improve operations and scale what works

Some things that would be nice to have for this role:

  • Analytical skills such as Looker, SQL, statistical knowledge
  • 3+ years of experience working with data to drive improvements/change through data visualization.
