System Software Engineering is an engineering discipline that combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. Practices such as limiting time spent on operational work, blameless postmortems and proactive identification of potential outages factor into iterative improvement that is key to both product quality and interesting and dynamic day-to-day work. Your Skills and Talents:

• A bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree from an elite institution in computer science, engineering, physics, math, or the equivalent
• 1-6 years of professional experience at a top-tier firm where software and systems engineering are business-critical
• Deep skills or acumen in learning about systems, programming languages, algorithms, mathematical concepts, or networking
• Competitive drive and an intrinsic motivation to win
