We are hiring for a Senior Marketing Specialist!

PayByPhone is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist (B2B and B2C) to join our tight knit group of professionals. This opportunity requires a big thinker who brings data-driven solutions to the table while boldly helping to spread the PayByPhone brand in both B2B and B2C spaces.

As the Sr. Marketing Specialist you represent the heart of the team and acts as our central hub by connecting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to meet our consumer and client needs. Balancing between driving strategy and directly shaping the outcome of creative, this role will work with our remote Sales team, as much as they will work with our Vancouver-based Marketing team.

The role also focuses on increasing our share of voice and credibility in the market, positioning PayByPhone as the thought leader and expert through tactics including events, PR, speaker opportunities, case studies, and webinars. This high-impact role will work across functions and interact with clients, vendors, and senior leaders as well as provide support on strategy and business objectives. The opportunity also exists for this individual to manage a team in the future!

Here’s what you’ll do:

Content Management and Campaign Development

  • Project manage and lead marketing efforts to develop campaigns and programs to help grow PayByPhone as a service from a B2B and B2C perspective
  • Monitor and report on success of campaigns via various platforms such as Appsflyer, Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor etc.
  • Drive our overall content strategy while actively participating in contributing to the content pipeline for B2C & B2B marketing initiatives by working with the team to develop internal and external communication pieces for things like campaigns, lead generation documents, presentations, award submissions and pitches

Event / Trade Show Management

  • Oversee the and manage Marketing events as a whole by researching, managing, organizing, and scheduling participation at trade shows, conferences, sponsorships, speaker opportunities, and corporate events, including event logistics, promotional materials, and shipping
  • Assist in developing lead generation strategies through tools such as drip campaigns, trade advertising, and submissions for marketing and company awards and recognition

Digital Marketing

  • Develop and maintain our overall digital marketing strategy and provide recommendations on adjustments or new tools and tactics based on data collected
  • Monitor and report on metrics and KPIs that have been agreed upon from a company standpoint
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to oversee the development of content/creative for various digital marketing activations
  • Work with the team to contribute to an ongoing editorial calendar as well as suggested content for key B2B and B2C social channels and our company website

Top-notch problem solving & decision making capabilities . You have the ability to independently account for and solve problems. You have the maturity to proactively assess risk, issues and dependencies.

The must-haves:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience directly managing events and Digital Marketing programs
  • Email, database, and digital marketing experience
  • Experience managing event budgets
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office including Word and Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Salesforce or an equivalent CRM
  • Experience with marketing automation (Campaign Monitor, etc.)
  • Experience and exposure to digital marketing and social media management tools
  • Experience producing and managing content marketing
  • Experience in digital execution of live content including webinars (GoToMeeting,WebEx)
  • Some analytical skills with interest in assessing KPIs to drive business performance
