Lyft is looking for motivated and organized Express Drive Associates to join our Los Angeles office. In this role, you will help drive our local operations activities, including onboarding and providing customer support to drivers. You will be the "face of Lyft" to new and existing drivers who are looking to participate in Lyft's vehicle access programs - short-term rentals that become "free" to the driver if they complete a certain number of rides. Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class service and support to Lyft’s driver community by utilizing strong communication, patience, empathy and problem solving skills
  • Guide new driver applicants through the Lyft onboarding and rental process
  • Work with current drivers to troubleshoot and resolve any concerns or issues
  • Works cooperatively with the team to solve problems and serve the driver community
  • Shows personal commitment and takes action to continuously improve
  • Analyze Lyft data for performance gaps and process improvements
  • Represent Lyft's brand, mission, and culture both inside and outside of the organization

Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service roles such as retail, technical support or hospitality
  • Knowledge of and passion for the rideshare industry (bonus points if you’re not just a passenger but a driver too!)
  • Knowledge of the TNC industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal savvy and passion for working with people
  • Ability to learn on the fly and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
  • Proficient with a Mac/PC
