Join us as an Electrical Field Engineer and you’ll
be looking at a career-defining role based in Kearny, New Jersey.
As an Electrical Field Engineer, you will have the
following duties:
Responsibilities:

Compile necessary inspection constructions, test reports, and test
records.
-
Support Engineering on type tests definition, setup and assist
measurements, and type tests for traction tests.

Prepare standard test procedure (STP) for commissioning.
-
Report technical and operational issues.
-
Develop technical solutions with BT Engineering and verify on vehicle.
-
Conduct fault diagnostics, repairs and reporting.
-
Technical support for colleagues especially on Diesel engine and its
exhausting system.

Support and execute customer trainings.
-
Follows HSE regulations and compliance.
-
Support team in field data collection and reporting (Maximo).
-
Conduct standard test procedures to ensure quality of tested locomotives.
-
Provide status (configuration) of vehicles recorded and available.
-
Provide input for technical open items record.
-
Prepares type tests.
-
PI contact for technical aspect regarding Diesel engine and traction
chain.

Exhibit excellent problem solving, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in
Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in testing and commissioning
rail vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Fluent in German
-
Experience utilizing IBM Maximo
