Join us as a Maintenance Duty Manager and you’ll be
looking at a career-defining role based at our JFK Airport site in NY.
As a Maintenance Duty Manager, you will be
responsible for providing management oversight for all vehicles and wayside
maintenance activities during the overnight shift, where most work primarily
takes place. Areas of responsibility includes Track, Facilities, Power,
Vehicles and Electronics departments. Activities always require safety standard
adherence, service reliability and goals associated with preventive and corrective
maintenance activities, including track work, guideway, structures, station
doors, traction power supply and distribution system, communication system and
vehicles.
Responsibilities:

Exercise leadership and supervision over the personnel and activities of
the organization and ensure employees adhere to all safety rules and company
operating polices and Code of Ethics including contractors and vendors.

Understanding and application of the commercial contract, meeting
maintenance performance targets as outlined in the commercial agreement.

Make timely and responsible decisions regarding operational and personnel
matters including allocation of resources, performance appraisals, employee
development, and corrective actions.

Ensure planned work activities are completed safely and on time.

Collaborate with Operations department to coordinate work activity start
and end times.

Manage work order process, ensuring all work orders are completed with
detailed information. Close all work orders within the shift work is completed.

Maintain Maximo work order process; all corrective work orders must be
addressed within 90 calendar days.

Exhibit excellent
interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in electronic/mechanical maintenance management with knowledge in processes and systems within railroad operations.
