Senior Associate, Designer

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Transformation Delivery for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

• Design engaging apps and web experiences that exceed users' expectations and achieve desired business outcomes
• Translate user insights and business requirements into seamless workflows, information architecture, wireframes, and stunning user interface designs and data visualizations
• Participate in Design Research efforts to ensure solutions are rooted in real-world user needs and deliver necessary functionality in ways that delight and drive adoption
• Present and defend the value of the team's design solution to client stakeholders through storytelling in a way that inspires confidence and drives approval
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of Strategists, Designers, Developers, and Delivery Managers, as well as client and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to our community of Experience Designers, providing expertise and ensuring our methods and approach stays at the forefront of our practice

Qualifications:

• A minimum of three years' experience in User Experience Design efforts in a professional services environment
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX Design or a related field from an accredited college or university; Master's degree is preferred
• Professional level proficiency in current execution tools and processes such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and or Illustrator), Sketch, InVision (or other prototyping tools), Lean, Design Thinking, and working with in agile teams
• Strong Design portfolio and a passion for demonstrating problem solving through User Experience with impeccable attention to detail
• Passionate, hard-working, and collaborative, with the ability to remain flexible and optimistic in difficult situations
• Excellent storytelling skills (oral, written, and visual communication) with the ability to inspire, educate, persuade, and receive feedback in a professional manner
• Willing and able to travel to client and KPMG locations as needed
