G Suite’s communications products include apps like Gmail, Google Meet, Google Duo, and platform messaging apps like Messages by Google, that over two billion users choose every day. They are designed for people to connect easily and for teams to get more done. With G Suite communication apps, information can flow freely between devices, apps, people and teams, so that meaningful connection moments are created and great ideas never get left in the margins again.
As the Director of Product Marketing for G Suite Communications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our G Suite communication apps. Partnering closely with Sales and Product Management, you will have overall responsibility for developing positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation and Go-to-Market strategies for communication solutions and pioneering new products that help people connect and teams increase their productivity.
In this role, you will be laser focused on putting our customers first. Intuitively anticipating their needs before they even arise, you will be able to go beyond standard market research to predict where the market is trending and where future opportunities lie for the G Suite apps more broadly. Utilizing insights and data to influence product strategy and investment, you will help scale products from the ground-up, organize product launches and create a repeatable Go-to-Market process.
Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
