We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our SaaS QE team in Burnaby, BC, reporting to Sr. Manager, Software Engineering. In this role, you will be a part of an Agile Quality Engineering team validating service-affecting functionality to ensure customer uptime. Our architecture is a container-based microservices architecture using the latest technological advances. You will get the opportunity to work with the best of the technical and thought leadership team at Infoblox.

What you’ll do:
- Join an agile Software Quality Engineering team to validate various features and products in Infoblox’s cloud-based architecture
- Automate functional tests wherever possible using industry or home-built tools
- Review the automation code and add it to production and monitor for daily execution
- Work closely with various cross-functional product teams
- Work with offshore team on tasks and suggesting test scenarios
- Work with Dev team and proactively escalate any critical functionality issue
- Setup On-Prem hardware, run performance tests, and review results
- Attend regular scrum, prioritize and plan QA testing
- Track and lead the team to deliver the product on Scheduled time
What you’ll bring:
- 6+ years experience in software test development experience with programming languages such as Python, Shell Scripting or Golang
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture and container-based software
- Experience in microservices testing and container-based software using Docker and other container technologies is a huge plus
- Experience working in Azure/Hybrid Cloud/AWS is a plus
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
- Ability to debug and narrow down the product issues
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE or EE is required; Masters in CS, CE, or EE is preferred
- Good communication skills

- Have made a significant contribution towards Infrastructure testing development
- Have made a significant contribution towards testing infrastructure design and development
- Start leading and taking ownership of the feature/project
- Have gained hands-on working experience and become an expert on Docker and Kubernetes
