About the SRE Team:

The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team at Persado bridges the gap between our infrastructure, DevOps, application engineering, and data science teams. The SRE team is composed of Software Engineers approaching IT Operations with an engineering mindset, providing expertise and mentorship to the engineering and data science organizations on how to build, deploy and monitor scalable applications. They work hand-in-hand with our DevOps team to design our infrastructure, while spending an equal amount of time hands-on with code to automate workflows, address performance issues, and improve the daily work lives of their fellow engineers.

We are looking for a Senior/Lead SRE with experience in:

• Mentoring engineers in SRE and software engineering best practices.
• Solving performance and reliability issues and preventing their recurrence.
• Defining standards for scalability and reliability
• Dockerizing and deploying applications and services on K8S
• Monitoring and logging tools like Kibana and Grafana
• Building pipelines using tools like Gitlab CI and Apache Airflow
• Developing workflow tools and automating common developer tasks
• Writing and reviewing code in a high level language, such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript
• PostgreSQL, Redis and ElasticSearch

Nice to have:

• Ability to analyze and optimize SQL queries
• Experience as a web developer, primarily with the Ruby on Rails framework
• Experience with app profiling tools like New Relic and DataDog
